Peter’s journey into the world of Continuous Improvement began nearly 20 years ago at Toyota. His experience took him to Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan, where he observed and understood Lean Thinking philosophies in action. He has since developed a proven track record of successfully implementing Lean Thinking and Continuous Improvement Programmes across various industries in New Zealand and Australia.
With nearly 20 years in senior management roles at Toyota New Zealand, Peter has amassed extensive experience in engineering, production, quality, training, human resources, and business development. He has also held key positions of Senior Group Leader for Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK and Production Manager for Electrolux New Zealand, Arthur Ellis, and Dynamic Controls.
Driven by a passion for seeing companies succeed, Peter provides his extensive expertise and strategic guidance to lead companies forward in their search for success. Additionally, he co-hosts the Lean Japan Study Tours with Shinka Management, leading participants through inspiring educational programs and factory visits.
