Are Middle Managers the Biggest Obstacle to a Lean Implementation?

What do you think are the most likely obstacles to implementing Lean in your company? According to one survey of 2,500 business people, the top three obstacles to Lean implementation are: middle management resistance (36.1 percent), lack of implementation know-how (31 percent), and employee resistance (27.7 percent).
